MDSS Patient Management Web App was designed to streamline healthcare facilities' processes by enabling efficient management of patient data, appointment scheduling, medical history, and staff coordination. The app offers a user-friendly interface for healthcare providers to track patient progress, access medical records, and communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
The frontend was developed using React.js and Bootstrap to provide a dynamic, responsive, and mobile-friendly experience. HTML5 and CSS3 were used to enhance the UI, ensuring it is accessible and intuitive. For the backend, Node.js with Express was chosen for handling API requests and providing fast, scalable performance. The app’s data is securely stored in a MongoDB database, ensuring easy access to patient records and scalability to handle large datasets. Additionally, JWT (JSON Web Tokens) were used for secure authentication and access control.
