The Dispatch Board Web App was developed to streamline the management and scheduling of deliveries, service appointments, or transportation requests. The app provides a real-time, interactive interface for dispatchers to assign tasks, track vehicles, and update statuses on the go. This web-based solution simplifies communication, improves efficiency, and ensures timely deliveries or service completions.
The frontend was built using React.js for a responsive, dynamic user interface that updates in real-time. HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap were utilized to ensure the web app is mobile-friendly and responsive across different devices. The backend was powered by Node.js and Express, enabling smooth, scalable performance for handling real-time data and communication between dispatchers and drivers/technicians. The MongoDB database was used to store dispatch logs, task details, and vehicle/driver information.
